| The Browning Performing Arts Center project consisted of a seismic rehabilitation, renovation and addition on three levels. The existing 122,600
square foot facility consisted of an in place unreinforced masonry wall structure. The 34,300 square foot addition comprises band and choral practice
rooms, theater, private practice rooms, and a state-of-the-art music computer center. The building is constructed of concrete and masonry walls
which act as shear walls, and composite steel beams supported by either masonry or steel columns. |
